Applying eye liner is a skill that takes some practice. Once you keep practicing, you will get perfect in applying the eye linear like a pro. Whether it is a liquid liner, gel liner or a pencil liner, you need to understand certain facts to get a clean perfect look. Few months back i had attended a work-shop on make-up from a reputed make-up academy. This is what i had learn from there.
Here are some points to consider while applying an eye liner...
Point 1
1. Apply a matte flesh-tone eye shadow on the base of the lid. It takes away any discoloration and creates a great canvas for whatever eyeliner color you’re using.
When applying a liquid / Gel liner, try starting from the outer corner of your eye as your brush will have more product and you will able to dispose the product where it is much required before coming to the inner corner of your eye towards the nose where you need less amount of product. Apply in small gradual increments rather than one long stroke. This helps keep your hand steady and gives you more control on where you place the color.
Point -3
When applying pencil liner, gradually deposit less and less pigment as you get closer to the inner corner. With pencil linear you can play around, how much product you want on your eye lid accordingly you can keep increasing the color by applying more strokes. You can also soften the edges by blending it with the brush if you don't want sharp edges.
Point - 4
The best way to seal your eye liner is by applying an eye shadow powder over it. It will help the color to pop up and will also help your linear to stay for long hours.
Point-5
If you happen to make a mistake while applying your eye liner, you can conceal it with your foundation by applying it with a fine brush to avoid messing up.Its like a eraser that keeps the rest of your make up staying perfect.
