INTERNATIONAL CULTURE WILL BE PRESENTED IN THE INDONESIA UMBRELLA FESTIVAL 2019

Indonesian Umbrella Festival 2019 will be held on September 6 to September 8 2019 which is located
in Prambanan Temple, Central Java. This year's festival with the theme 'Leaves' will be a source of inspiration for festival participants.

The Indonesian Umbrella Festival is an independent festival that is held by residents and is followed by a variety of traditional arts communities, contemporary artists, creatives, photographers, designers, and many more.

The festival is held with the intention to preserve the umbrella of Indonesian traditions while at the same time fostering the potential of people's creativity from various arts in exploring the Indonesian umbrella tradition.

The theme chosen this year is 'Sepayung Daun' which seeks to provide challenges and also inspire the public and festival participants to produce creative and innovative works by placing leaves as a source of art creation. Invite creators to make the diversity of leaves in the archipelago as a source of creation.

Even more interesting about this festival is not only manmade and local wisdom of the archipelago. But the foreign culture is also presented at this festival. What are those? Precisely there are the culture of Thailand and Japan.
