Bully Beef and Chips - from the Dandy

Today, I am taking a look at a strip from early and late in it's run,  I am taking a look at Bully Beef and Chips from the Dandy.  the first by his original artist Jimmy Hughes, and a late era strip by Sid Burgon

the first one is from the Dandy No. 1381, issue dated 11/5/1968.

our second strip (which reflected the changing times) comes from No. 2756, issue dated 17/9/1994.

If you ask me, I prefer the older strip, but of course such a strip could not be done today.
