Upcoming horror game Resident Evil Village Release Date, Platform and story.

 

Resident Evil Village  is an upcoming survival horror game developed and published by Capcom. It will be the tenth major installment in the Resident Evil series, and the sequel to Resident Evil 7: Biohazard.

The game was announced at the PlayStation 5 reveal event in June 2020 and is scheduled to be released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on May 7, 2021.

 

Gameplay & Multiplyar mode

 

Like Resident Evil 7, the game was developed on the RE Engine and will be played from a first-person perspective, with Ethan Winters returning as the protagonist.

The inventory management system is similar to that of Resident Evil 4, featuring a briefcase. The game also features the return of "The Merchant", who now has a more obese and gigantic appearance and is referred to as "The Duke".

He can sell the player various things such as weapons and healing items. The currency used in the game for buying said items is Romanian "Lei".

Resident Evil Village will include a six-player online multiplayer game with the purchase Resident Evil Re:Verse. Unlike the main game, the multiplayer game will be played from a third-person perspective. While technically a separate game, RE:Verse will not be sold separately at launch.

 

Story

The game is set a few years after the events of Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. During the reveal, Capcom said of the story, "Ethan's world suddenly comes crashing down once again when Chris Redfield, an unexpected yet familiar face makes an appearance, setting off a chain of events that sees a distraught Ethan seeking answers to Chris' shocking actions, and ultimately finding him in a mysterious village.  Events will take place in Romania.
