Inthelatest nationalstatistics from the Department of Trade and Industry, CentralVisayashasthefourthmostnumberofMSMEsinthecountrywithmorethan50,000 enterprises. These providejobsformorethan200,000 workers according to the Philippine Senate.

"Cebu has sustained its economic growth notjustbecauseoftourism, butalsoduetoitsimmensecapacitytoincubatebusinesses drivenbyacreativeanddynamictalentpool," saidGarcia.

GarciasaidtheTECHonomyForumaimstosupportCebu’sthrivingeconomybyofferingavalue-addingthoughtleadershipplatform.Here,localbusinessesandstakeholderscanexchangeknowledgeandideasonthebenefitsofdigitaltransformationandinnovation.
